July Thank You Notes- Remarkable You
My July Thank you notes were made with the OH-SO-AMAZING new stamp set called Remarkable You. I LOVE the big images that are perfect for coloring!

Now these cards are beautiful and simple....but I thought I wanted to step them up a bit......so here is what I did:

Happy Anniversary- The Wilderness Awaits & Timeless Love
I have not played with my watercolor pencils for a while so this was the perfect opportunity!
Using Memento Black ink, on watercolor paper, I stamped the goose image on the bottom left and then I re-stamped the goose image two more times but without the grass.....how'd she do that you ask?......oh the magic of masking tape!
I simply taped over the area of the stamp that I did not want with masking tape, inked the stamp, removed the tape and then stamped on my paper- easy peasy!
Then I colored the images and background with watercolor pencils and a blender pen as well as my aqua painter.
I really enjoyed making this card....I need to use my watercolor pencils more often!!!

Another Fogotten Card. . . Fathers Day 2015

This beautiful Father's Day card my hubby received from his step-Mom, Carole.
I love how she put the hummingbird image onto a circle thinlets flip card! These thinlets are so versatile!

A Different Card....Father's Day 2015
Here is a card I forgot to share earlier- a card I made for my hubby for Father's Day from me and his "little girl" Dixie.
This is a really different card for me. A while back I purchased some cardboard die cuts that were tools. For this card I simply colored the die cuts with my copics and a silver marker!
The flattened bottle cap with the #1 dad is the perfect embellishment for this manly card.
This is a perfect card for hubby as he is always fixing things or building things! He sure had a big smile on his face when he opened this card!

Saran Wrap Technique- Awesomely Artistic & You've Got This
Saran Wrap Technique
Card
The background was created by scrunching up saran wrap and using it to apply ink to the cardstock. The images and greeting were then stamped in memento black ink. The gold glittered dragonfly and some new gold thread finish off this card.....easy and striking technique!

A Shaker for the Boys.......By The Tide
Shaker Card
This card was also made in my July Techniques Card Class. Who doesn't love a shaker card?!
The pool party background was sponged with Marina Mist Ink and then the plant and fish images were stamped and colored. T
he shell and the anchor were stamped, colored and cut out and pop dotted.
Window sheet was attached to backside of frame with Tombow. Then double sided foam tape....add the sequins and then attach the stamped back panel.
Really very easy....just a bit time consuming.
