Last week I made this card using up some scraps of Pacific Point and Melon Mambo that I had laying on my desk top. This was very quick and easy to make. The greeting is from the Project Life Remember This stamp set.
I cased this card from a similar card I found on Pinterest. It turned out. . . ok. . . definitely lacking in my opinion. I am not a fan of the big butterfly....needs more pizzazz....if I did it again instead of water coloring it I would use the Watercolor Wings stamp set....it would set it off perfectly I think. And perhaps instead of the silver thread (too tiny in this application) some leftover silver cording might be better Regardless... it is an idea. . . and ideas must be shared.
I was playing with paper on the weekend and decided it was high time I used a cheap single stamp I purchased at a big box store. I loved the mason jar image the moment I saw it and just had to have it. Well it has been sitting on the shelf by my desk for weeks....high time indeed! I used some retired Stampin' Up! items, some current Stampin' Up! items, and my copic markers. I find coloring sooooooo relaxing.
