Good Morning Stampers!

Happy Friday!  Woo Hoo! 🙋...we made it through another week and now it's time to relax and get creative this weekend.

I thought I would kick off the weekend by sharing a cool fun fold card we made in my Techniques and Fun Folds on May 21st.

Check out this baby:

The Magnolia Lane designer series paper is definitely the star of the show and I paired it with Mossy Meadow and Petal Pink cardstock. The Good Morning Magnolia stamp set was used as well for the magnolia buds and the greetings! 😀

Thursday, May 28, 2020. . . Paper Pumpkin Alternative Day! . . . Video and photos to inspire you . . .

Hi Stampers!  Happy Thursday!

Today is the day for my May 2020 Paper Pumpkin Alternatives post!  Woo Hoo!

This was a FABULOUSLY fun kit featuring some of the new in-colors available next week on June 3rd.

If you have not yet ordered your June kit (and you live in Canada), contact me, and we will get your kit ordered (before they sell out)

The June kit is supposed to be a special one designed by our CEO Sara Douglas, and has cards you can make but also extra supplies to decorate the special box and fill with goodies to spread sunshine to someone who needs it!  How cool is that!

I have a video tutorial for you today; as well as photos of the five alternative cards.

I did not do any of the suggested projects....sorry but you can follow the instructions in your kit for that....I am focusing on alternative ideas for you.  Here are the kit projects:

Grab a coffee and check out what I came up with:

Who says clouds cannot become ice cream?

Shake Shake Shake....everyone loves to receive a shaker card!

Blossom punch and some glittery washi tape is all that is needed for this beauty:

And if you can have ice cream from clouds why not a delicious popsicle from background paper?

And critters make any card fun!

May 21, 2020.....Seven Cards to Inspire You from Shel's Mystery Stamping Hour !

Last night I hosted my first Mystery Stamping Hour.  It was fun!

We had cardmakers from four Canadian provinces playing along.. Ontario, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, and Alberta!

I gave each of the participants a list of products to have ready when the free class began on Facebook Live.  Here is the list:

As you can see from the list, the variables in stamp sets, card stock colors, dsp colors and patterns would be immense.....that is the mystery....what will we end up with?

We met on Facebook Live last night and one step at a time, together we created our cards.

(insert drumroll here) Below are the FABULOUS cards ....hope they inspire you to dust off those stamps and get stamping and sharing your cards with others!

FYI I will be hosting Shel's Mystery Stamping Hour once a month....all are welcome and encouraged to join.  My next one is Wednesday, June 17 at 6:30.

A few days before the event, I will be posting the supply list in the group.

I hope you can join the fun!  Here is the group you need to join in order to play:
