My Heart....

This layout features pics of my oh so photogenic grand-kids.

These photos were taken in October 2013.....so you know how far I am behind in my scrapping.  I can't get over how much they have changed from these pics already!

This was a very quick and easy layout and I simply used  calligraphy pens to write the titles

A couple of heart punches made all the page embellishments.

Yep....its been a while....but it is a scrapbook page....finally!

I know it has been quite a while since I posted a scrap layout....and truthfully it has been a while since I have done any scrapping.

Last weekend I got a chance to play for a while and here is a page I made.

For the color splotches I dropped assorted color reinkers on white cardstock and blew the drops around using a straw ( head rush!!)

Then I used my label maker for the title.

I used my Bigz Alpha Dies to cut out the numbers.

I got this idea off the internet, and thought it was a great way to document your thoughts at a particular time in your life, without using any photos.

Mother's Day Card ...

This is a card I made for my Mother In Law:

It is chock full of many layers and different techniques.

The card base is Wild Wasabi

The mat is Wisteria Wonder

The leaf background mat is made with a specialty designer paper from Sale-a-Bration called Irresistably Yours.  It is a white paper with a glossy pattern.  I used Wild Wasabi Ink to ink it and the ink does not stick to the leaf images- cool!

The focal images and greeting  are from the Crazy About You Stamp set and the flowers are punched out with the coordinating Flower Medallion punch.

Then I used my glue pen and added glue to the flowers and sprinkled them with Dazzling Diamonds glitter.

A sparkly rhinestone to the center of the flowers finishes it off.

Hey!

This is a card I made last week....a kind of twist on a gatefold.....here is the inside:

I took a piece of dsp and stamped mini camers, arrows and sayings all over it so that the dsp would coordinated with the camera image from the SNAPSHOT stamp set by Stampin Up.

I stamped the camera image in black memento ink and colored it with Copic Markers and Blendabilities Markers.  Then I used a Sakura Gelly Roll glitter pen and added the glittered bits.

The Hey greeting is from the Hi There stamp set on page 18 of the Stampin Up annual catalog.

I think this card will be a great GUY card and could be used for a variety of occasions.

Caught a bug....

I made this card the other night.....I think it is so cute!

The jar is from the Perfectly Preserved stamp set and cut out with the matching framelits. Then I colored it with Blendabilities.

The ladybug image is from the Spring Sampler stamp set.

The caught a bug was mad with my rotary stamp.
