Only Basic White Card Stock Challenge. . .

Yup...you read it correctly....only Basic White card stock....no other cardstock....no DSP....no vellum....no other paper whatsoever.

This is a good one.....I cannot wait to see what you come up with.

Get your thinking caps on and start creating!  Do your best work....think techniques....think fun folds....think texture....challenge yourself- go creatively crazy!

Send me a clear photo of each of the cards you create, before Sunday, April 30th at 5pm.

If I receive more than 5 entries, I will enter your name in a draw for each card created, and do a draw for a prize from me!  (Yes you can enter more than one card)

Winners will be announced on Monday May 1 on my blog.

Lunch Break With Shel...Beautiful Balloons Bundle

Did you ever see a stamp set or bundle and immediately know that you "had to have it?"

That is what happened to me when I saw this Beautiful Balloons bundle.  It immediately was a must-have for me.  If you asked me why, my first response would be versatility and it has coordinating dies.

This bundle is found on page 15 of the new annual catalog.  It is part of the oh-so-correctly-named, Bright and Beautiful Suite Collection!

Believe me, you are going to want this suite!  The Bright & Beautiful 6x6 Designer Series Paper is so bright and stunning!  Paired with the Gold Celebrations 12x12 vellum the possibilities are endless.

Think beyond the obvious birthday....think congratulations... think graduation....thing celebration....think accomplishment....think support....think retirement......As I said, the possibilities are endless for this super versatile suite! (can you tell I love this 😊)

Enough of my excited babble....here is the link to my video tutorial:

Lunch Break With Shel...Season of Chic- Layered Glitz and a MIDWEEK CHALLENGE!

Hey Hey Hey!  Welcome to LunchBreak With Shel!

Today's video features the Season of Chic Bundle!

Here is the video: CLICK HERE

Shel's Mid Week Challenge:

Glitz/Glimmer/Texture/Layers

pick an embossing folder,

pick a DSP,

pick a neutral and a colored cardstock,

pick a shape punch or die,

grab your favorite bundle and give this a try!

Add more layers, give it your own twist.....let your creativity guide you.

FYI.....If I had it to do over again I would choose smaller punch for my shapes....my problem was I had four seasons to get on the card so I needed four mats for them.....I think this idea would work a bit better with three mats.
