Stamp With Shel Weekend Challenge Cards

On Friday I sent out two Weekend Challenges.

Carole has stepped up to the challenge once again!

Here was my first photo challenge of a beautiful Italian town:

This could have inspired people in any number of ways- rock-wood-cement-brick- houses-windows-foliage-trees-people-water-boats-fun-colors-textures etc.

And here is how this photo inspired Carole:

Carole says:

Looking at the very colorful, busy scene, I thought of all the conversations going on.

I used the Conversation Bubbles Bundle (#160637 page 39 J2A Mini)  with lots of colors, and the Brick and Mortar Embossing Folder(#149643 Page 176 Annual )

This was my second challenge:

To be honest, I threw this one in as I assumed it would be difficult and you would really be difficult, and have to think on this one.  I mean truly,it is a white and gray square....LOL.

This is how this image inspired Carole:

Carole says:

The white, grey square made me think of a snowy day.
I used  Mountain Air Bundle (# 151610 + 151608 page 95 Annual) and Nature's Prints Bundle (#158801 page 91 Annual) and
retired Rustic Retreat.

So...once again Carole has colored me impressed!

I love how her mind sees things in a totally different way...I guess that is why she is so creative!

Well done Carole!

Thanks so much for playing, and sharing your beautiful work, to inspire others!

Crafty Collaborations Crafty Challenge Blog Hop....a sketch challenge + a 3D interactive card !!!

Hey Hey Hey Stampers!  Happy Monday!

Today it is Crafty Collaborations Crafty Challenge Blog Hop!  My friends and I hope to inspire you with our projects today.

This time it is a sketch challenge created by the wonderful Stefanie Pletcher for us.  Here is the sketch:

And I made a motion card loosely based on this sketch using the Friendly Gnomes stamp set and coordinating Gnomes dies. Here is my card:

The card front kind of looks like a normal card, but check out that little pull tab...

As you start to pull the tab the panel pops up revealing another panel underneath...

Continue pulling straight down and another panel is revealed....

And finally the greeting is on the last panel.

The card opens up like a normal card giving you lots of room to write your greeting.

I hope you like my #3D Interactive Waterfall card....now hop along to see what my other crafty friends have for you:

Crafty Collaborations Share It Sunday Blog Hop...Scrap Bin Stampin'!

Hey Hey Stampers!

I hope you are having a lovely weekend and have set aside time to stamp.

Today I am blog hopping with my creative pals to bring you some Sunday inspiration.

Today I am scrap bin stampin'!  I am using up bits and bobs from my scrap bin instead of cutting full-size sheets.

Here is what I came up with:

I found this piece of green card stock in my scrap bin and that is what started the idea for my card.

First I dry embossed it with the Stitched Greenery Dies #155441.

Next, I found some scraps of Basic Black and Basic White and I had a half sheet of Basic Black.

I stamped the image on Basic White with Memento Black ink and then colored it with Stampin' Blends.

The only embellishment I added was Matte Black Dots.

I love how bright and cheerful this card turned out....and it can be use for either a male or female with this color palette.

Here is a closer image:

Don't you just love the detail in that background die!!!

And here is a close-up of the stamped image:

Now hop along to the next stop and check out all the inspiration my creative pals have for you:
