This month is a technique challenge...Embossing!
I do a lot of dry embossing in my card making so I decided to dust off the heat tool and share a card with Heat Embossing!
I used a brand new bundle I just received called Conversation Bubbles along with Friendly Gnomes.
Here is my card:
I stamped and heat embossed the bubbles on Basic White card stock with versa mark ink then added clear embossing powder. After I heat set the embossing powder I blended inks (Polished Pink, Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie) to add some color and interest
The gnome and mushroom were stamped in Memento Black ink and colored with Stampin' Blends
For the greeting, I stamped the images on Basic Black card stock with versa mark ink and then added the white embossing powder.
A bit of ribbon and this card was complete!
Now hop along and see what my creative friends have to inspire you with:

ReplyDeleteSuper fun background.
ReplyDeleteI love this! It's such a cheerful thank you note and the resist turned out beautifully. I love the contrast the black and white greeting lends too.
ReplyDeleteSo very vibrant! I love the way you've done the white on black sentiment. It really pops the white on bright colour bubbles in the background. Great idea!
ReplyDeleteVery nice card. All in softness. I like the colours used for the background. Thanks for sharing!
