Lunch Break With Shel- Petal Park Beauty...




 Hey Hey Hey Stampers! 

Welcome to Lunch Break With Shel.  Today I have a video tutorial for you featuring the Petal Park Bundle! 

 I am obsessed with this punch bundle....it makes it so so easy to create GORGEOUS cards in just a couple of minutes!  

Did you know this is a carryover item (stamp and dies, not the bundle) in the new Annual Catalog coming on May 2?  Yippee! 

Anyhow....enough of my blabbering on.....here is today's video tutorial link:

I chose the cardstock colors based on the colors in the Regency Park DSP.  (I am going to miss this paper....it is GORGEOUS)

Notice how I stamped Balmy Blue "dottage" around my focal image....to fill in the white space but also to mimic the Night of Navy "dottage" in the DSP.  

How You Can Make It:

Supplies: 
Petal Park punch bundle
Regency Park DSP
Pale Papaya card stock
Night of Navy card stock
Basic White card stock
Balmy Blue ink pad
Night of Navy Ink pad
Navy Bordered Ribbon
Enamel Dot Essentials
Adhesives- Tombow, Glue Dots, Tear N Tape, 
Greeting  stamp of your choice

Measurements:

Card Base: Pale Papaya 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 score 4 1/4
Card Liner: Basic White 4x 5 1/4
Front Mat: Night of Navy 4x 5 1/4
Front DSP: 5 1/8 x 3 7/8
Focal Mat: Night of Navy 3 x 4 1/4 
Focal Image: Basic White 2 3/4 x 4 
Greeting Mat: Night of Navy 2 1/4 x 1  1/8
Greeting Tag: Basic White 2 1/8 x 1
Scrap Basic White for stamping and punching flowers

Instructions: 

  1. Fold the card base on the score line and burnish it flat with a bone folder. 
  2. Add a Basic White liner to the inside of the card
  3. Glue DSP to Night of Navy mat layer and attach it to the card front
  4. Stamp the focal image as shown in the video. 
  5. Stamp the flowers and punch out
  6. Add the focal image to the Night of Navy mat layer. 
  7. Add ribbon around the focal image and then attach it to the card front using dimensional. 
  8. Add flowers to the focal panel using dimensionals
  9. Make a bow and attach it with glue dots. 
  10. Stamp the greeting of your choice, add it to the mat layer, and then attach it to the card front using Dimensionals
  11. Embellish by adding navy enamel dots to flower centers.
