Spring is the theme for this month's Around The World on Wednesday blog hop!
Who doesn't love spring....leave the cold and snow behind and fresh growth, sunshine, and birds chirping. I know I am READY even though we still have about 2 feet of snow on our front lawn still!
My favorite thing about spring is sunshine and listening to the birds sing. So, of course, I had to go with that for my card. And just for fun, we will add in some layering, some ink blending, some die-cutting, and some coloring.
Here is my card:
I used the Rays of Light stamp set for my background so we had lots of late-day sunshine peeking through our trees. The tree die is from the Perched in a Tree bundle. The birds are from the Nested Friends bundle.
Doesn't it look like they are in a cool shady forest protected from the harsh sun just singing away....(that's what I see- LOL)
