Lunch Break With Shel- Dots & Spots Die Fun!


Hey Hey Stampers!  It's Tuesday so that means it is time for a Lunch Break With Shel video tutorial!  

Today's video features the DOTS AND SPOTS DIE found on page 170 of the Annual Catalog.  Here is an image of the die:

How You Can Make It

Supplies:

Basic Black card stock
Daffodil Delight card stock
Basic White card stock
Tahitian Tide card stock
Polished Pink card stock
Basic White card stock
Granny Apple Green card stock
Real Red card stock
Real Red Ribbon
Dots & Spots Die
Fragrant Flowers Die
Real Red, Polished Pink, Old Olive, Shaded Spruce Stampin' Blends
Adhesives
Paper Trimmer
SCEM die-cutting machine
Basic Pearls
Paper Snips
Memento Black Ink
Stylish Shapes Dies
Decorative Circle Punch
2 1/2 Circle Punch

Measurements: 

Daffodil Delight 8 1/2 x 5 1/2  scored 4 1/4
Basic Black 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 Basic White 4 x 5 1/4 
Scraps of remaining colors for strips and greeting tags & flower

Instructions:

  1. Fold the card base on the score line and burnish flat
  2. Add a Basic White card liner to the inside of the card. 
  3. Die cut the Basic Black panel with Dots and Spots die using SCEM.
  4. Cut scraps of card stock into 1/4" strips. 
  5. Glue strips across the back side of the card using small dots of Tombow between each dot
  6. Glue the completed card panel to the front of the card. 
  7. Stamp greeting in Mememto Black ink on a Basic White scrap.  Die cut with Stylish Shapes circle die
  8. Punch out circle mats from scraps
  9. Assemble the greeting and add it to the front of the card
  10. Stamp a flower and color with blends to use as an embellishment
  11. Embellish with ribbon and pearls.
