WEEKLY DEALS- JUNE 9-15th...
Faux Leather Technique with Walk In The Wild....
The technique is called faux leather.....you take a piece of crumb cake cardstock and stamp your image in Chocolate Chip Ink.
Then you take your foam mat and stylus and trace around the image.
Then you sponge all over with Crushed Curry Ink
Then you sponge all over with Pumpkin Pie Ink
Then you sponge all over with Soft Suede Ink
Then you sponge the edges and highlight areas with Chocolate chip ink.
The background is Cajun Craze stamped with Hardwood Stamp and Chocolate Chip Ink.

Dotted Birthday Card and Watercolor Wishes Card Kit Video
For this card I used my new dot die from Simon Says Stamp. I die cut the white card base and then attached assorted colored strips of cardstock to the back side. The card base is Tempting Turquoise and the greeting is from a retired Stampin Up set called Bold and Beautiful Greetings.
Quick and easy and very eye catching.

Pocket Birthday Card and Dotted Lace Trim Video
I made this cute little pocket card using Project Life supplies....the pocket and the insert are both from Project Life. The greeting is from the stamp set Remembering Your Birthday. I used my stars mask to create a background on the orange card base using Night of Navy ink. I punched out some stars using star from Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack. I used a Stampin' Write Marker to decorate the edge of the pocket. I like this one....it is totally different for me so it was fun to make!

MY FAVORITE THINGS FROM THE NEW CATALOG!
Now there is no easy way to do this as there are just SO MANY wonderful new products, so I am going to break it down into categories. The first category will be SUPPLIES:
Page 137 Cardstock and Ink Pad Kit $40.00 This gives you all five new ink pads and 4 sheets of each of the new in color card stock. Since the individual price on the ink pads is $8.00 by ordering this kit you get the card stock essentially for free!
Designer Series Papers with coordinating Card Stock Packs! This is genius! I don't know why it took so long. No need to buy the full packs of cardstock now....buy these coordinating packs and save yourself some money!
The DSP stacks are just $10.00 and the coordinating cardstock packs are $8.75. The full size DSP packs are $13.75 and the coordinating card stock packs are $8.75. Check these out on pages 142-144.
Oh my so many choices! But the Triple Banner Punch is a must. This is on page 165 and allows you to punch 3 sizes on one punch ( I have a trick so you can punch 4 sizes)
The new Fluttering Textured Embossing Folder in the new 6" x 6" size is beautiful! It can be found on page 174.

Bumblebee Shaker Card....
Simple yet different. I love how the dsp looks like honeycomb....and the bees look so real. I added a treat cup and filled it with brown and copper sequins. Cool!
