WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 3, 2021.....FAN FARE FOLD VIDEO TUTORIAL WITH STORAGE IDEA FOR BLENDER BRUSHES....

Today I am popping in to share a video tutorial on a new card fold I just discovered this week.  

Also, I have a FANTASTIC storage idea for you for your new blender brushes!!!!

The card is called a Fan Fare Fold and is super easy to do and is a fabulous fun fold!

TUESDAY FEBRUARY 2, 2021......ALL WIRED UP FOR HEY CHICK......WITH INK PAD SWIPE TECHNIQUE.....

Happy Tuesday and Happy Ground Hog Day! 

I don't have any groundhog card for you today....so some chickens will have to do.....and I believe it is fitting because today is the release day for the two chicken bundles!  Woot Woot!   

My card today features two stamp sets and a technique too! 

Here is my card: 

I absolutely love these fun chicken stamps! 

These are the supplies I used for my card: 

• All Wired Up stamp set
• Hey Chick stamp set & dies
• Whisper White card stock (card base, art panel, chickens, and tag)
• Early Espresso card stock(mat layer & tag)
• Soft Suede card stock (mat layer)
• Memento Black ink pad (greeting)
• Gray Granite ink pad (fence)
• Crumb Cake ink pad (dirt/ground) 
• Stampin Blends 
• Double oval punch

Super Easy Instructions: 

1. Stamp and color and die-cut your chickens
2. Stamp and punch your greeting
3. Stamp the all-wired-up background stamp on the art panel then swipe with a crumb cake ink pad to make dirt/ground. It makes a cool texture to it as well. 
4. Then all you have to do is put all the pieces together....I put my chickens and greeting on dimensionals.

FRIDAY, JANUARY 29, 2020.....A TOUCH OF INK.....SIMPLE STAMPING AND LET'S STEP IT UP A BIT!

It's Friday!  Woot Woot!  

And it is almost the end of January.....yay that means closer to camping season (lol ya I know....I am dreaming again- ha ha!) 

Here is a video replay of last night's Facebook Live card class and pics of the cards are below.  

 First I made super simple cards using only white card stock, 1 stamp set, and 1 ink pad. Then I stepped it up a wee bit by sponging the same color ink lightly over the images to make them pop.  Then I stepped it up a bit more by embellishing with pearls and adding a tiny bow. 

For the next three cards, I stepped it up more by adding a colored card base with an art panel on the outside and a writing panel on the inside.  I also changed the orientation.  I used blending brushes and three different ink pads and three different colored card stock. I stamped images in black this time. I embellished with ribbon and pearls.

Here is an image of this FABULOUS stamp set that just makes my fingers itch to get coloring....lol: 

And here is today's card that I made for a dear friend: 

    I wish you could see all the glittery goodness of this rainbow glimmer paper.....it is impossible to photograph it so you can see the beautiful glimmer.  

And here is a peek at the inside..... used the tiny strip of glimmer paper to jazz up the inside too....and added some sweet Gorgeous Grape flowers as well!

We are halfway through the work week and just two days to the weekend!  

I hope you are staying warm...here in Winnipeg we had a shocking cold snap and temperatures this week so far were as cold as -46.....brrrrr!  

Today's blog post is a video tutorial for what I am calling a wonky gatefold card....not sure what you are supposed to call this card....I have seen tons of them all over social media and thought I would give it a try.  

I used the FABULOUS Love You Always suite of products found in the J2J Mini Catalog.

I must apologize for the photo quality.....the reflection from the foil dsp, the reflection from the Wink of Stella, and the foil itself makes it really hard to photograph.....in person this card is stunning.

Today I am here to talk about our featured product....the SENDING SUNSHINE  stamp set found on page 111 of the annual catalog!

I have had this stamp set for quite some time now....and it had never been inked!  GASP! 

So....I decided it was high time to change that!
