Saturday, March 13, 2021....Stampin Inkspirations Blog Hop.....Easter & Spring Theme....

Happy Saturday! Thanks for popping by today!

Today I am joining a creative bunch of demonstrators for the Stamping Inkspirations Blog Hop!

We are focusing on Spring and Easter projects this month.

Well, spring is a time for new beginnings, and green grass and birds and flowers.

Today I chose to focus on the flowers and dug out my Hydrangea Haven stamp set.

This is a gorgeous stamp set that has matching dies, coordinating papers, coordinating ribbons, and embellishments too!

Wednesday, March 10, 2021.....Around The World On Wednesday Blog Hop......3D Projects.....

HEY, HEY, HEY STAMPERS! HAPPY WEDNESDAY!

Today, I am once again hopping around the world with a super talented bunch of stampers! And today.....we are exploring the world of 3D items!

This challenge was a hard one for me! I rarely do 3D projects anymore. I guess Angie was pushing us to step outside our comfort zone this month....LOL!

As I was struggling for an idea, I spied my new butterfly bundle.....and then the idea was born....YAY!

Here is what I came up with:

Nothing says spring to me more than birds and flowers and bees and butterflies!

So I made four of these super cute little treat boxes with butterflies and ribbons to decorate them!

Which color is your favorite? Mine is the yellow one (that even surprised me!)

These were super easy to make with the oh so simple mini curvy keepsakes box die. Simply one pass through the die cutter and fold together and decorate!

MONDAY, MARCH 1, 2021.....SPLOTCH TECHNIQUE ONLINE CLASS ....

Hey, Hey, Hey Stampers!

I am popping on here today to share a set of cards featuring the splotch background technique.

I did a free online class on this last week and I got loads of positive feedback!

Here are the four cards I made:

Each of these cards is made from a piece of 6x6 DSP which gives you enough dsp for the card front, the envelope flap, and to embellish the inside panel too!

WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 24.2021...SIMPLY SUCCULENT BUNDLE

Hey, Hey, Hey Stampers! Happy hump day! We are halfway through the workweek and just a couple steps away from the weekend.

A while back I thought I was ordering the Simply Succulents bundle but goofed and ordered the wrong number! eek! I only ordered the dies!

Now don't get me wrong....for me the dies are the star of the show....but I needed the stamp set too....so I had to wait another couple of weeks for it to get ordered and arrive.

I just the stamp set today....so now I can proudly say I have The simple succulents bundle… And I’m here to share a card with you today!

This bundle is fabulous!

Here is a look at this bundle:

Notice that there are four stitched tag dies for the greetings, along with four succulents die, a pot die, two greenery dies and the OH SO FRICKEN FABULOUS intricate background die cut!!!!

And here is my card:

For my card I used a Mango Melody card base ( this is a color I rarely use) and Night of Navy mat layer.

I die cut the fabulous intricate die and clipped away some of the flowers and used it as a background. Then I used a wink of Stella to color inside the petals.

The photo does not do this card any justice. In-person it is gorgeous....with the glimmery die-cut and plain background.

Next, I stamped the images and colored them with Stampin' Blend alcohol markers

I added a bit of Wink of Stella to the foliage as well.

A quick greeting die cut with one of the stitched tag dies and my card is done.

You are going to see more of this gorgeous set....I have a ton of ideas floating about in my head with this fabulous bundle!

Don't forget:

If you want to continue using any of these colors, you must stock up on them now!

The current catalog ends May 3rd. (That's earlier than you're used to.)
When the retirement list comes out on March 24th, anything with these colors will be on it.
