I got a RAK card!

 I received this beautiful card in the mail last week.  It was designed by Andrea Sharp. 

I belong to a group of demonstrators called SUDSOL....which stands for Stampin' Up! Demonstrators Sharing On Line.  

Periodically they do card swaps....this card was from one of their swaps....and got mailed to me as a RAK- random act of kindness!  

What a great surprise in my mailbox! 

Here are the details: 

Timeless Textures Background. . .

I made this card using the Timeless Textures stamp set to create a soft background for my vivid butterflies.  

The butterflies are from the Papillon Potpourri stamp set on page 72 and the greeting is from the Perfect Pairs stamp set. 

Sunshine Wishes. . . .

I recently received a Stampin' Up! order and this Festive TIEF was part of my goodies.  I have been just itching to use it.....

I started out with a Whisper White card base.  Then I embossed a piece of Marina Mist card stock for the background layer. 

Next I stamped the greeting from the Thoughtful Branches stamp set on Whisper White card stock using Marina Mist ink.  

I dug out my retired heart framelits and cropped out a heart image. 

Next I found a scrap of retired Pretty In Pink retired card stock and cut out the heart image from the Sunshine Wishes Framelits. 

I LOVE how this one turned out!

Simple Thoughtful Branches. . . easy one layer card for any occasion. . .

When I got home from work last Tuesday, I noticed a piece of Gumball Green cardstock sitting on my stamping table. 

Well, that is all it took....before I did anything else I had to make a card. 

I don't have a lot of masculine cards....and wanted something that was simple, and something that I could use for any occasion.

This is what I came up with.  

I stamped the greeting first using Mossy Meadow ink. 

Then I repeatedly stamped the tree image from the Thoughtful Branches stamp set, again with the Mossy Meadow ink. 

Very Simple....no ribbon, no glitter, no embellishments....very quick....very versatile! 

I thought after I was all done that this would be a really cute background for one of the FOXY FRIENDS....might have to give that a try soon!

The final "Forgotten" Cards. . .

This is the last card from the stack of "Forgotten" cards.  

I love the simplicity of the swirls intertwining and the neutral color tones. 

Cottage Greetings Birthday. . .

This is a card I made for a girlfriend....and put it in a safe place until her birthday....and you guessed it....I couldn't remember where I put it....duh! 

I made this using the Cottage Greetings stamp set found on page 74.  

Love how the Daffodil Delight makes this card POP!

Gorgeous Grunge Birthday. . .

Here is a super easy and quick birthday card using the Gorgeous Grunge stamp set found on page 123 and the star punch and star framelits.  

A touch of glimmer paper makes this card shine!
