Craft Room Tour

Today I wanted to share with you photos of my newly renovated craft room.

I just purchased some AMAZING storage items from stampnstorage.com and promised my girls I would share photos as soon as I had everything set up.

Now I have an extremely tiny craft room- just 5 foot 10 inches wide by 9 foot long...and there is a huge patio door taking up most of one wall.....so I need to carefully use every inch of space.

Let's get started on the tour....Right beside my patio door I have a rolling storage cart.  I store tons of items in here and my Big Shot sits on top

On the small piece of wall space beside the patio door, hubby built me a shelf and on top of part of the shelf I have a cube shelf that holds photos on the top and stores my Stampin Up Designer Series Papers in stamp cases underneath.  When I purchase a pack of dsp I immediately cut it into 4x6 pieces and store it in a stamp case. On top of this cube have a light, paper towel dispenser, and my clear block cases.

On the side of the cube shelf I store my sponge daubers:

On the same shelf I store my foam craft mats,  other companies dsp,  and my Stack and Store Caddy that holds my Stampin Up Embellishment contaiers.

On the wall directly below this shelf I have my TV ....

And two pink cube shelves directly below the tv that holds my paper cutter, dies, completed cards, and cutting plates and shims for my Big Shots.

Here is a shot of the far end wall....see all the beautiful shelves and cubicles for storage my hubby built:

Now here is a closer look at some of the cubicle storage:

Across the top of the cubicles I store binders, cricut vinyl, file folders, office supplies, and 81/2 x 11 paper for scrapbooking.  In the far right cubicle I store miscellaneous items that are used rarely like my peg stamps.

In the second cubicle I store tools, dues, stamps, sponges, rotary stamps, and other companies clear stamps.

In the third cubicle I store buttons, sponges, embossing folders and framelit dies:

In the final cubicle I store books, paper, other companies dsp, and scrapbook albums:

Now for my desktop area, behind the desk top I have skinny little storage shelves that hubby built that run the length of the wall.  On the right I have my computer, then some often used papers:

Next is my new stickles shelf from stampnstorage.com  It stores the bottles upside down so they are ready to use, and the shelves slide out for easy access:

Next is my whale tail punch holder again from stampnstorage.com.  It accommodates all kinds of sizes of punches. LOVE IT.  Above the punch holder I have a plastic container with all the sponges that go with each color of Stampin' Up! ink.:

Below this is my ink, marker and reinker storage unit from stampnstorage.com.  LOVE LOVE LOVE it!  There are 60 slots....plenty of room for all the inks, all the in colors and a few extra slots too! Notice how all these units fit together...all of them are the exact same depth and the exact same height....just the lengths of some units differ....

Under the desk is my computer and my scrap paper storage unit:

And another drawer storage unit.  The shelf on top is where I store my score boards and my paper cutter.

Ok so that is the far wall done...now we go to the side wall opposite the patio door.... here is a photo of more beautiful storage solutions from stampnstorage.com....... love how they stack so effortlessly.....

On top is the stamp shelf unit....I have stored crayons and ink refills here as well as stamps I am currently using to create cards for my Christmas Card Classes....

Then the six drawer storage unit.....

The the lock down punch holder.....

And because I have so many punches I needed another lock down punch
holder.  Notice tucked in the space between is a holder that I have all my punch boards stored in.

And more upper cubicles my hubby built for paper storage:

And on the end of the cubicles I have this storage unit that has tiny boxes of brads and bling:

And here is my space where I make my cards...the bygel rail and storage cups are from Ikea.  I have cork on the table top and it is covered with glass for easy clean up.  I have a candle holder that I keep my Tombow glue in (upside down with no cover so it is always ready to go.  I have a can of pens and pencils and a list of items I need to purchase.  And of course the always needed baby wipes.

Next is my final stampnstorage.com item- the blendabilities marker holder...I have two as I have a bunch of copic markers as well....

On top of my marker storage I have my candy dots, jewels, pearls, dimensionals etc

Next to that I have another storage unit for markers, a container for receipts for taxes, and a wire storage unit that holds bottles:

And under the table top is my file cabinet and garbage can:

The final end wall of my craft room is filled with DVD storage units that I purchased at Canadian Tire.  It holds all my stamps, ribbon, bakers twine etc:

Here is the ribbon storage....the trick here is to put the back of the shelves one peg lower than the front of the shelves....this keeps the ribbon from rolling off the shelf onto the floor.

And in the space above the alarm system is another one of the storage systems from Walmart with all the little plastic containers for hardware and goodies.

I highly recommend the Stampnstorage products....they are beautifully crafted and will last forever.  Yes, they are a bit expensive....but you truly get what you pay for and these are worth every penny you spend.  It will make your craft room organized and it will be so much easier to find things and put things away!  Check it out for yourself at www.stampnstorage.com
