Something Different....Stampin' Up stamps with actual watercolors ....

Today I wanted to share with you something very different.

For all three of these cards I stamped my images with Versamark ink on Stampin' Up! watercolor paper and then heat embossed them.

Then I grabbed a round paint brush and my tubes of watercolors and had some fun!  I love the depth and intensity of the colors!

The first card above, I was going for a dark stained glass effect....when completely dried I covered in versamark ink and then added clear embossing powder and heat set.

It is by far my favorite and although impossible to photograph is GORGEOUS in real life.  It is a glossy shine that is amazing.

The next card below was simply water-colored and dried. It is very pretty with a matte finish....but I wish I had clear embossed it before I put on the die cut.

And my final card was heat embossed with white embossing powder instead of black and water-colored.  When dry I added versamark ink and irredescent ice embossing powder-(this is retired but is a combination of clear embossing powder and dazzling diamonds glitter.....easy enough to make your own)
