Wednesday, April 29, 2020. . .Simple Stamping With Shel. . . 4 Birthday cards with Piece of Cake. . .

Hey, Hey... Happy Wednesday Stampers!  

Today I had taped a video for this post...but YouTube would not play nice.  I tried uploading the video four times and each time it would error. Frustration got the best of me and I deleted the video from my device. 

So pictures only for today's post....but that is ok....cause this is a Simple Stamping post!  

Today's featured product is that Piece of Cake #148610 stamp set and the coordinating Cake Builder Punch #148525

Here are my cards: 

This first card features a strip of the Birthday Bonanza dsp and the hinge step stamping technique. 

 This next one features simple stamping and building the cake with stamp and ink. 

This next one is a bright cheery card with a banner made of the Birthday Bonanza DSP

And the final card is a snap with the Happy Birthday die cut doing all the work and using the cake as an embellishment!

Today's blog post is sharing the cards featured in my March 31st card class - this was an All Occasion Online Video card class.  

The first card is a sympathy card featuring the Painted Poppies stamp set found on page 26 of the Spring Mini Catalog.  The greeting is from  Kindness and Compassion stamp set found on page 76 of the Annual Catalog

This is the beautiful stamp set called Kindness and Compassion-item #151342....note that it is on the Last Chance Product List...get it while you can. 

  I highly recommend this set for your collection....in my opinion it is a must-have for sympathy and gratitude cards.

Wednesday, April 22, 2020....Up-line inspiration with Ornate Garden DSP and a video.....

It is warming up in Winterpeg and forecast gives promise of double-digit temperatures for the remainder of the week- woohoo!  

I have a couple of items I want to mention before we get to today's project.

I basically used the same layout and flipped it vertically,  Changed the entire color scheme, added foil mats and ribbon.

Don't you just LOVE the early release Ornate Garden Suite!!!  I am totally obsessed with it ( as if you did not already know that by past blog posts Ha Ha.

It's a cool one in Winnipeg this morning....with the promise of warmer weather on the weekend!  Yay!

I wanted to start this week off with a #SHARESUNSHINE blogpost.  I challenge you to make a card and send it to brighten someone's day!

 I used the OH SO FABULOUS early release products available NOW!!!!   The ORNATE GARDEN SUITE !!!!

For these cards, I used the same sheet of dsp but changed out the daisy color, the ribbon color, and the mat color.

April 17, 2020... Tropical Oasis CASE.....

Happy Friday Stampers! 

Another week is almost gone.....hopefully bringing us closer to warmer temperatures and long sunny days!  

Speaking of sunny days, today's post features products that will make you dream of sunny days....all from the Tropical Oasis Suite found on page 39 of the Annual Catalog. 

Now, I have a confession to make.....I totally CASED a GORGEOUS card off Pinterest, back in early March, and I have just spent over an hour trying to find the original card so I could give credit to the designer....however no luck.  So if you know who designed the original, please email me and let me know at andersonshel@gmail.com.

I used a different embossing folder than the original card as well as a different greeting.....not sure about the cardstock though....like I said, it has been a while.
