Friday. October 23, 2020... Stamp With Shel....October Paper Pumpkin Alternative...

So....another night of little sleep....after listing to the bear growl (hubby snore) until I could not stand it any longer, I drug myself out of bed and went into my craft room.

I did a bit of 3 am cleaning and tidying and then I spied this delicious red box of goodies and thought....I will make an alternative card!

It took a bit to get the creative mojo working....but this is what I came up with and I was pleased with the result.

Here is how I did it.

Night of Navy card base 4 1/4 x 8 1/2 scored at 4 1/4

I cut open an envelope (gasp) to get at the gorgeous Cherry Cobbler printed insides and cut 4 - 2x2 squares which I glued to the front of the card using Tombow.

2 1/2 x 2 1/2 Whisper White and stamped the wreath image in Mossy Meadow.  Next, I colored the leaves with a Granny Apple Green Stampin Write marker. Finally, I stamped a bunch of the berries around the wreath with Cherry Cobbler ink.

Night of Navy mat layer 2 5/8 x 2 5/8 to mat the wreath which I attached to the center of the card front with dimensionals.

Next, I attached a tiny bow to the wreath using the Cherry Cobbler bakers twine that comes in the kit.

I stamped the greeting with Night of Navy on a scrap of the white envelope and simply cut out the words I wanted with my paper snips.  I attached this to the center with mini dimensionals.

I grabbed some of the foreign languages, die-cut foil words and snipped them apart to form the word "Friend"  and then glued the word together with Tombow and then attached this to the front of the card.

For embellishments, I grabbed my mini hole punch and punches the edges of the foil piece the words were in and then attached the little dots to the card front.

Voila!
