Friday, May 28, 2021...Stamp With Shel...Etched In Nature for Fun Friday and a Challenge.....

 

Hey, Hey, Hey Stampers!  

Welcome to Stamp With Shel and Fun Friday! 

Today I have a card to share with you that features the Etched In Nature stamp set and a twist on the Scrappy Strip Technique! 

Here is my card: 

To create this card I glued strips of foil dsp - I used the Simply Elegant Specialty DSP onto black cardstock.  

Once all the strips were glued on....I cut it again into strips the opposite way, to create multicolored squares on a black background strip.  

Next, I glued these onto a piece of gold foil.

This creates a fantastic background for any image and you can do it with any dsp or cardstock.  Dig out of your scrap bin and use up those scraps!

And here is a look at the stamp set I used: 

And one final look at this card.  I wish you could see it in person....the gold foiling in this card is beautiful! 

Now for a challenge.....I challenge you to choose a stamp set randomly and create a card using this modified scrappy strip technique!
