Tuesday July 13, 2021....Tuesday Newsday- your quick stop for a weekly Stampin' Up! update and some inspiration too!

Yep, this is me doing the happy dance!  It is almost new catalog time!!!  I have received the new catalogs and sale-a-bration flyers too! I am getting them ready to send to you.  They start on August 2nd!  Woooo hooo!

Ok now that I have your attention and your smiling because you think I am crazy.....😃.....I will continue with a couple bits of news and then on to my card.

The first bit of news is that the matte embossing paste that has been unorderable is now available!  Yay!

The second bit of news is BIG NEWS!  The Paper Pumpkin monthly kits now have their own BLOG!

The third bit of news is that you need to check out the complete card classes to go - I now have three complete card classes to go available:

Check flyers for complete class prices.

Already own the products?  I have two options for you:

Option One: PDF Step by Step Tutorials, Video and Card Kits
            $20
Option Two:  PDF Step by Step Tutorials & Video $15

Ok...enough business....now on to the fun creative stuff!

So I am going to give you a little backstory.  I was cutting kits for one of my classes and had a whole bunch of offcut pieces on my desktop.  I was going to toss them in my scrap bin but decided to challenge myself to use them to make a card.  This is what I came up with:

The card base is Basic Black 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 scored at 4 1/4
The art layer is Basic White 4 x 5 1/2
The red and gray stitched pieces are off cuts from the Basic Borders dies
The black leaves are from the Symetrical Stems border punch
The greeting is stamped from the Biggest Wish stamp set found on page 63

I was actually quite impressed to have a masculine card from a pile of scraps.

Hope this inspires you to get stamping!

Ok...so noow about a free tutorial to inspire you some more?

This is one of the tutorials from an Awareness Tutorial Share I participated in.

This one is for the support of surviving family members of suicide.

Here you go.....enjoy:
