Enjoy Creativity!

Enjoy Creativity
CASE the Layout
Are you always looking for a new layout for your cards?

Why not CASE the layout of a card you already love?

All you have to do is draw a sketch of the layout and follow that to your creative heart’s desire (like the one above)!

For example,  loved the layout of the Dear Santa card so much, and wanted to  CASE it to fit an entirely new vibe—and because the sketch is so versatile, it can fit any smaller image and bold sentiment!

Natural Tones Stampin’ Blends were used to color in the cream topping and pie crust.

Then the images were stamped and colored in the light tone of Stampin’ Blends of the same color.

The cup sleeve was created with the bullet tip of the Stampin’ Blends, and then stamped the cup in Tuxedo Black Memento ink.

Next fussy cut the cup sleeve and place it on top of the image.

The end product doesn’t look like you copied anything, but it was just enough to get the creative juices flowing!

Product Showcase: Regal Winter Suite: Day Six!

This week, I will showcase the Regal Winter Suite #164040 found on page 35.

Here is a quick look at the products in this suite:

This is the entire suite:

These are the Regal Foiled Adhesive Backed Dots.....SO PRETTY!

This is the Blackberry Bliss and Gold 1/2 inch ribbon #164039:

This is the GORGEOUS Regal Winter 12 x 12 DSP #164156:

This is the Regal Distressed Patterns Specialty Paper #164037:

The Regal Flora Dies:

The Regal Flora Stamp Set:

Here is my sixth card:

This is a very simple stamped card that I made a bit more interesting by rounding all the corners and adding a band with ribbon and a bow.

Here is my fifth card:

Look closely and check out this dry embossed beauty!  I started with three strips of DSP glued to a black mat. Then I dry embossed the mat.  A greeting tag and a focal image tag layered on top of a strip of that gorgeous specialty dsp was all it took to make this a wow!  The ribbon is from the Season of Elegance suite on page 25.
Here is my fourth card:

Check out this beauty!  The DSP does all the work!

Here is my third card:

For this card, I wanted to showcase more of that gorgeous DSP...I wonky cut diagonally for a fun look. Layered circles for the greetings and some stamped and die-cut floral images were simple to add.  I embellished it with the ribbon and the dots from the suite.

Here is my second card:

Since yesterday's card focused primarily on the DSP and dies, I thought today I would concentrate on the stamps.

I stamped different stamps with various ink colors to create my own DSP.  This time I used the GORGEOUS  ribbon from the suite.

And here is my first card:

Check out that gorgeous DSP and the fabulous dies!   EEeeek I just LOVE this suite!
For this card, I opted for Night of Navy and Gold Glittered Ribbon from the annual catalog #162011.

Be sure to come back all week for more inspiration!
