Last night I started my new five-week series Tuesday Sketches With Shel.  Each class we will create one tag, one card, and one scrapbook page following a pre-designed sketch. 

Sketches are designed to spark your creativity.  They are a starting place.  You can follow the sketch exactly, or use it for an idea and then go in your own direction.

Stamp With Shel Facebook Live- Global Design Project Challenge #515- Spooky Sweet!

Fall For Toile- September Paper Pumpkin Kit- FAB!

 During last night's Facebook Live, I shared the new Paper Pumpkin kit....Fall for Toile.  

This is a FABULOUS fall kit - well done Stampin' Up!

There are 9 cards in the kit- 3 of 3 designs.  I made this as per the kit instructions, but my fingers are itching to get back to the kit and do some alternative designs.  Watch next week for that.

Two Crafters....Same Bundle....Two Very Different Cards!

 Hey Stampers!  

The purpose of my post today is to show you how very different two cards can turn out when two crafters are left alone with the same supplies.  

This past weekend, I created swap cards using the Amber Autumn Bundle. My criteria for the swap was a current Stampin' Up! product, more than one layers with embellishments. 

Here is my card: 

Carole, one of my stampers, happened to share a card she made this weekend using the exact same products.  

I thought...hmmmm... it would be fun to share her card and mine at the same time to show you the two very different ideas!

A Hit and a Miss?

 

Good Morning and Happy Monday! 

Today I am sharing a card that I made that I consider to be just ok....to be honest, in my eyes a fail.  I was NOT happy with the outcome of this creation....but LOVED the technique.  

Why am I showing you this card? So you don't make the same mistake that I do!  

I chose Calypso Coral for the focal panel, and I should not have done so. 

Do I know what I should have done? Absolutely! 

Am I going to tell you? Absolutely!  

Tonight on Facebook Live at a special time:  6 pm.  

I will remake this card, and I guarantee you that it will be amazing.  Hope to see you then!

Back Fold Challenge... with a guest stamper!

 

On Tuesday night, I did a Facebook Live and taught a super cool and super easy fun fold card called a BACK FOLD.  

I put out a challenge for viewers to make a card and to share it.
