Modified Book Fold featuring Gathering Moments Bundle...

 Today I have an AMAZING card to share with you.  Unfortunately no video tutorial as I started taping this video, and I was almost done with my card when I realized Facebook had booted me and I was no longer taping.  *sigh*

You know how sometimes you are creating a card and it just morphs into something amazing....well, this is what happened when I was designing this card. 

I had the idea to modify the standard book fold card....went looking for some DSP in Pretty Peacock....and went in a totally different direction with DSP.  

The idea in my head was to put a layered banner on the card front and stamp the greeting on the banner and embellish with leaves.....well, that did not happen.  

I chose the large maple leaf die, did some drawing with a marker, did some layered inking, did some scrunching and stamping.....and this is what happened: 

Here is a close-up of this GORGEOUS leaf.....in real life, it is SO REALISTIC....it takes me home to New Brunswick and all the GORGEOUS fall colors and leaves. *sigh* 😀

When I showed it to my hubby, he said, "That is just paper?" 

So, of all the cards I made this week using the Gathering Moments Bundle....this is by far my favorite!  I am going to challenge myself to make a scrapbook layout using this leaf technique!
