Scrapbook Monday....8 Months Old.....Already!

Yesterday was a bitterly cold day here in Manitoba, so  I did a scrapbook layout of my girls 8th Month....December 2025.

Time sure when your having fun!  I chose the papers and embellishments from the Snow Day scrapbooking kit to create my layout.

The large 5x7 Christmas pic was my focal image so I chose tiny photos to put at the bottom...snuggling in their bed....playing with tons of toys....and waiting patiently for Dad to throw the ball.

There is never a dull moment with these two sweeties....like take Saturday for instance....I turned my back for 30 seconds and my mandarin orange dissapeared...peel and all....gone!  We looked everywhere and no orange.  One or both of them must have eaten it peel and all! yikes!!  I was in their mouths smelling for orange and examining their teeth for evidence as I did not know if oranges were toxic to dogs.  Of course I freaked out and called the vet and they said that they would be fine.  And now it is Monday and they are fine.  But man oh man the little bums keep you on your toes sometimes!

Stay warm friends!  Until next time, happy stampin'!

Global Design Project Challenge #GDP531...

This week's Global Design Project Challenge was to use hearts.

I chose DSP from the Made With Love 12 x 12 DSP #167054 page 31.  I paired it with the Valentine's Day stamp #166903 page 21. I also used my retired Stampin' Up! hearts dies from MANY years ago.

Technique Alert....so easy!

Create a Custom Background with One Die
Bring creative potential to the foreground for your customers using a background die. A number of different looks are waiting to be discovered when you cut the same background from several different patterns or colors and piece them together.
Step 1: Cut the background die shape from five different colors of cardstock.
Step 2: Cut the four colors into rows and adhere them to the Basic White background. (Tip: You’ll have enough pieces to make several cards.)
Step 3: Stamp the flower in VersaMark ink and add clear embossing powder. Tap to remove any excess powder and emboss using a heat tool. (Tip: Before stamping and adding embossing powder, lightly dust the cardstock with the Embossing Buddy to prevent static.)

PRODUCT OF THE MONTH BLOG HOP - FABULOUS SAYINGS

I have two cards to share with you today featuring the Fabulous Saying Product of the Month.

The great thing is we get to combine this product with others to bring you loads of creative inspiration!

Here is my first card:

This mini card is 4 x 4 inches and is so easy to make.

I chose the Splash of Sparkles DSP from January Online Exclusives and cut one of the panels down to 3 1/2 x 3 1/2, and stamped my greeting right on the DSP.

 I added a Timid Tiger mat layer at 3 3/4 x 3 3/4 as well as a Basic White liner at 3 3/4 x 3 3/4.

A bit of ribbon and some dots to embellish and this mini card was done!

Here is my second card:

Again, I used the Splash of Sparkles DSP for my background. But this time I die-cut an image from the Lovely and Beautiful DSP.

I fussy cut the floral image and colored it with Stampin' Blends.  And because the image was foiled, I did not have to be careful as the marker would not stick to the foiled areas!

Another super simple to make card, but the foiled DSP and the bold horizontal greeting makes it a WOW for the recipient.

Now hop on to the next person on our hop and see what they have created to inspire you.

Happy Stampin'!
