2.27.2017 A Good Friend Like You. . .

I was playing around in my craft studio and decided to try a new Occasions catalog stamp set called Special Reason.  This is a gorgeous stamp set that has great images and awesome greetings.

2.24.2017 Bear Hugs Fun....

I was playing in my craft studio the other day and decided it was time to dig out my Bear Hugs stamp set.  I have not used this set much and I really love it.  

I especially love it for masculine and kids cards.  

I used up some scraps of bright card stock for the fringe layers on the bottom which I made using my Fringe Scissors.

2.23.2017...Swan Lake

This is the third and final card we made in my February Techniques card class.

It features the beautiful images from Swan Lake stamp set found on page 53 of the Occasions Catalogue.

The girls learned two watercolour techniques using the Watercolour Pencils found on page 24 of the Occasions catalogue.

2.21.2017 ...DRAGONFLY DREAMS...

2.20.2017....So In Love Bundle...

This is one of three cards we made in my February Techniques card class.  It features products from the So In Love Bundle found on page 52 of the Occasions catalog.

The ribbon featured on this card is found on page 11 of the Sale-A-Bration catalog.

2.17.2017....Dragonfly Dreams....

I made this card a couple of weeks ago using the Dragonfly Dreams stamp set found on page 26 of the Occasions Catalog.

I used the wings for the dragonfly with Sweet Sugarplum ink and stamped it multiple times to make a flower.

Next I stamped the bee and greeting using Memento Black ink.

Then I grabbed a blender pen and Daffodil Delight ink to fill in the flower centre and to colour the bumble bee.

I used Sahara Sand ink and the blender pen to colour the bees wings.

I used Wink of Stella clear for the wings and the flower centre. Sorry really hard to photograph the glittery goodness of Wink of Stella. 

A few coordinating sequins finish it off ( and covered up an oops)

Finally I mat the focal piece on Basic Black card base.

2.16.2017....Pretty Pocket Card Kit....a Sale-A-Bration freebie...

 Here is a closeup look at the Pretty Pocket Card Kit on page 19 of the Sale-A-Bration flyer.  The kit has everything you need to make 8 great cards!  The above two cards were made with supplies in the kit....the four cards below  substituted ribbon for the included bakers twine:

2.15.2017-Anniversary Wishes

Here is a quick card I made using the new stamp set Falling For You found on page 51 of the Occasions catalog.  

I love the quiet simplicity of this card....you can never go wrong with Basic Black and Crumb Cake!
