I love the beautiful earthy colors - Old Olive, Tranquil Tide, Crumb Cake, Soft Suede and Early Espresso paired with the Wood Textures DSP!

9.19.2017...Technique Tuesday...Highlighted Dry Embossing Technique....

Doesn't this card just make you happy to look at it?  I love how this one turned out with all the vibrant happy colors. 

The technique is called highlighted dry embossing and features the large polka dot embossing folder....you could also substitute the Polka Dot Basics folder found on page 210 of the annual catalog. 

I used Wild Wasabi, So Saffron, Peekaboo Peach, Powder Pink, and Flirty Flamingo inks along with Memento Black ink.  

You might be wondering where I got the scallop border for the greeting....that is actually the bottom side of the Decorative Ribbon Border Punch!  YEP it is actually two border punches in one!  a two-fer!  LOL!

Good Monday Morning!

I have taken a few days off from blogging to implement some changes.

I hope that you will like the changes and the new format of my future blog posts. (no sales info and just crafty goodness!)

Mailbox surprise. . . Badges and Banners. . .

One day last week, when I came home from work, I found this sweet surprise in my mailbox.

It is from my upline, Denise Willerton.  She loves to leave little samples in my mailbox whenever she comes to the city.

This sample features the stamp set called Badges and Banners found on page 26 of the annual catalog.  This stamp set coordinates with the Best Badge punch found on page 206 of the annual catalog.
