Richard's Kindergarten School Photo...
This bright and colorful layout features my eldest grandson Richard....a few years ago when he was in kindergarten.
Yeah, I know, I am behind in my scrapping......if only you knew the real truth.....I have BOXES of photos not only of my grandkids but of my boys when they were younger.....I may never be caught up in this lifetime....though I expect that Project Life layouts will help immensely.
What a cutie!
I tried a new technique called faux silk. You take tissue paper, I stamped on it....then scrunch it all up....open it up.....scrunch it into a tight ball ......and open it up.....then glue it (with wrinkles) to your cardstock.....kinda neat!
I took the remaining tissue paper and rolled it up and used it as a decorative banner with some jumbo brads. The stars are cut with my framelit dies.

Using up scraps....
I made this card using up a bunch of scraps.
I colored the image with a combination of Blendabilities and Copic Markers.
I used my spritzer tool and a stampin write marker to create the dotty background.
The bird image is from the SAB stamp set called A Happy Thing.

A Friend....
I found this on line and printed it off.....I colored the image with copic markers and then used my Tim Holtz distress inks and applicator in tumbled glass and old paper to color the background. A couple of pieces of ribbon scraps and I am done!

Indescribable Gift- times three!
These are three Easter cards I made for family and friends. I just wanted to show how different each is by simply changing up the ink colors.

Beautiful Brielle.....a scrapbook layout
This layout features my beautiful granddaughter Brielle. This picture was taken last August at our trailer at Oasis Beach. Isn't she absolutely gorgeous!
The inspiration for this layout came from the colors in her bathing suit....I wanted something fun and summery.
I chose a solid blue background color. Then I took white cardstock and painted a sunburst pattern in blues yellows and greens . Once I had this dried I cut my cardstock into 1 1/2 inch horizontal strips and distressed the edges of each with my distresser. Next I took the strips and sewed down the center of each strip on my sewing machine for added interest. Then I simply glued the strips onto the blue cardstock, allowing the blue background to show through.
I matted Brielle's picture on a different shade of blue mat. Then I added a couple of pre-printed tags and a journal tag. A couple of wooden elements completed this page.
