Thursday Tool Talk- Punches

Today we are going to talk about punches....yes punches!  They are so easy and versatile to use and will last you for a very long time.  A great papercrafting investment!

Today I am going to show you what I discovered last weekend.

Look what happens when you combine three scallop circle punches.....

A coffee filter.....

and some ink.....

.....are you ready.......

Paper Roses!

You can make them in various sizes and fullness, depending on the size of the punch and the number of layers.

Simply punch out scallop circles from the coffee the edges......scrunch each piece into a little ball.....unfold and pierce a hole in the middle....stack them together and put a brad through all layers to hold them together.....then fold and scrunch the layers one by one.....voila!

I found that if I only used the 7/8 inch punch it made great rosebuds- give it a try!
