Joseph's Coat Technique- Vintage Leaves and Best Birds. . .
Here is a fun card I made last week while playing in my craft studio.
I have done the Joseph's Coat Technique before.....and I absolutely love it....so I thought I would give it another go- and chose colors that are absolutely not in my "normal" color field.
I chose the Vintage Leaves stamp set for my images and the Best Birds stamp set for the greeting.
All were stamped on Whisper White card stock 4" x 5 1/4" using Versa-mark ink. I then heat embossed the images using white embossing powder.
Next I grabbed a couple of ink pads- Bermuda Bay and Perfect Plum and sponged on some ink-randomly all over the card stock
A Perfect Plum ribbon for embellishment along with a few Fancy Frost Sequins finished the art piece. I then mounted it on a standard card base 8 1/2" x 5 /2" scored at 4 1/4" in coordinating Perfect Plum card stock.
