I hope you had a fun and relaxing weekend. I wanted to start the week off with a fun project I made last week.
I had seen a lot of pocket cards on the internet, and a few had tutorials, but they all had two pockets on the front.....and I only wanted one pocket.
So this card is what I came up with.
I folded a piece of Pacific Point striped DSP from the Brights stack to create this card. It is all one piece.
I started out with a piece that measured 11 x 8.5
I folded it in half to dimensions of 5.5 x 8.5
Then I folded in half again to dimensions of 5.5 x 4.25
Then you have to make sure your open ends are at the top and point to the right.
Fold down the top corner to the side to create your pocket.
I used fast fuse adhesive to secure the flap and along the side of the pocket.
I also used some on the back side to adhere the pieces together. (if you wanted to you could also create a pocket on the inside but it does not leave you much room for writing)
A quick bookmark greeting using the tag topper punch and a few flower embellishments made from punches finishes this card off nicely.
Hope you like it! If you have any questions feel free to contact me.
