3.13.2017... Split Negative Technique....

In my last Techniques class, I taught the girls the split negative technique using the Wherever You Go  stamp set #141951 found on page 144 of the Annual Catalogue.

This is a very versatile set and I love the quiet simplicity of it.

To make this technique work you MUST stamp precisely the same image in precisely the same spot on two different pieces of card stock.

Therefore you MUST have either a Stamp- A- Magic placement tool #101049 page 183 of the Annual Catalogue or a Misti.

For this card I stamped black ink on white card stock and versamark on black card stock which I heat embossed with white embossing powder.

Next you will have to cut both images exactly in half.

Put one black and one white image together and voila! Cool huh!

And the added bonus is that you get two cards out of the deal!

Products used for this card are:

Wherever You Go ##14951                          Basic Black Card Stock #121045
Whisper White Card Stock #100730    So Saffron Card Stock #105118
Embossing Buddy #103083                 Heat Tool #129053

Memento Ink Pad #132708                 So Saffron Ink Pad #126957
Versamark Ink Pad #102283                       White Embossing Powder #109132
