Tip Tuesday....

Tip Tuesday....Stampin' Blends Color Lifter Tip

Did you know, that the color lifter is predominantly a correction tool.  It is used to remove colored Stampin' Blends from areas where you have made a mistake and gone outside the area.

To correct you start in your white area and push the color from the outside back towards the colored area where it is supposed to be.  Do not over saturate....it is alcohol ink and will dry quickly.....let it dry and repeat if necessary.

An added tip is that since it removes color, you can use it to add lines or dots.  Lets say you want a red polka dot balloon...color the balloon with dark real red blend and then apply little circles with the color lifter.. as it dries it lifts the color and the polka dots appear!
