Friday, May 8 2020 . . . Catalog C.A.S.E. . . "Book Card" with video. . .

Happy Friday Stampers!

Today's post is all about a lack of creativity.

You know what I am talking about?

You need a card or you want to make a card....but you have zero creativity.

I don't know about you, but I hate it when this happens to me!  It is frustrating. . . I have all of these beautiful stamps, papers, and inks and have no clue what to do.

I needed two cards for two very special ladies in our lives. . . and I had no clue what to do!

After staring at my stamp shelves and coming up with nothing I was getting more and more frustrated!

Sound familiar?  It happens to us all.

Well the best thing I have found when this happens to me, is to grab my "inspiration guide".  What's that you ask?

Well, it is one of these:

Yup. . . nothing better to kick start your creativity that to grab your catalog and check out some of the gorgeous samples right in your catalog.  That is what they are there for- to inspire you- to show you ideas of what can be done.

You have probably heard the term CASE....depending on who you talk to, to CASE is an acronym for copy and share everything or copy and selectively edit.

I find that once I CASE a card, my creativity is sparked and I am good to go off on my own and creating my own cards.

Today's card and video are all about my catalog CASE.

I chose to CASE a card from the spring mini catalog on the front cover...it is the one closest to the top that looks like a book....that is why I am calling it a "book card".

Of all the beautiful cards on the cover, this one jumped out to me.....so I chose the design but not the stamp set or the designer series papers.....I made it my own by changing out these items while still using the layout and design of the card base from the sample.

Check out my video below and you will see the two samples I made from this design:
