Hey Hey Stampers! Happy Wednesday!
Today I am hopping around the world with a FABULOUS bunch of stampers!
Our theme this month is "The World Around You"
I could have taken this in so many different directions, but no matter where I look now all I see is gorgeous fall colors and lots of leaves. So....that is how my scrapbook layout was created!
I have been on a 8 1/2 x 11 inch kick lately and I am finding that I love creating this size layout! And it gives me ALL of the Stampin' Up! card stock colors to use in my layouts!
I started with an 8 1/2 x 11 sheet of Very Vanilla cardstock and doodled a squiggle/dot border with a black Stampin' Write marker.
Then I grabbed my scrap bin and chose some fall colored scraps- Cherry Cobbler, Crushed Curry, Mossy Meadow, Real Red and Cajun Craze. I stamped some leaves from the Gather Together stamp set and cut them out with the coordinating dies.
To add some more color I grabbed my Camouflage stamp and stamped it in Mossy Meadow. Then I moved it slightly and I restamped it in Cherry Cobbler. I again moved it slightly and stamped in Crushed Curry. I LOVE how it turned out and it will be a great mat for a fall photo!
The title was from the Gather Together set and was stamped in Cherry Cobbler

ReplyDeleteI agree with you about loving the 8-1/2" x 11 size for scrapbook layouts. It's a great size. Yours is gorgeous and so perfect to celebrate the fall season. I absolutely LOVE the effect with the Camouflage background. So awesome!
