Daffodil Daydream for the Crafty Challenge Blog Hop


 Welcome to the Crafty Collaborations Crafty Challenge Blog Hop!  My creative friends and I have lots of projects to share with you this morning! 

This was our challenge: 




And this is my card: 


I used all five colors (plus Basic White) and created an ink-blended Easter card.  Since I did not have any coordinating ribbon I used Soft Succulent and colored it with my Tahitian Tide Stampin Blend.

                                        How You Can Make It

Supplies:

Daffodil Daydream Bundle
Easter Bunny stamp
Brushed Brass Butterflies
Soft Succulent Ribbon
Memento Black ink
Gray Granite & Crumb Cake ink
Garden Green ink 
Blender Pen & Blending Brushes
Mango Melody, Daffodil Delight, Tahitian Tide Stampin' Blends
Pacific Point, Daffodil Delight, Tahitian Tide, Basic White card stock

Measurements:

Pacific Point 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 score 4 1/4
Daffodil Delight 4 x 5 1/4
Tahitian Tide 3 3/4 x 5
Basic White 3 1/2 x 4 3/4
Basic White 4 x 5 1/4

Instructions:

  1. Stamp images on focal and inside panels with Memento Black ink
  2. Color images with Stampin' Blends and Blender pen with Garden Green ink. 
  3. Fold the card base on the score line and burnish flat. 
  4. Add inside panel to card
  5. Add mat layers to the front of the card
  6. Create a mask using a coordinating die to the image stamped on the front panel.  Mask the image and use blending brushes to add color to the panel as desired
  7. Stamp greeting with Memento Black ink
  8. Color ribbon with Tahitian Tide blend and add to the front of card
  9. Embellish with bow and Brushed Brass Butterflies
