Lunch Break With Shel Video Tutorial- Masks + Inks + Embossing Pastes = FUN!

For this first card, I created a mini card and used the Loveliest Layers Masks and a blending brush with Tahitian Tide ink to create the background and color in the circle.  Then I made it into a fun fold card using the dies from the Amazing Silhouettes Bundle.  Here is a peek at the inside:

This second sample uses the same mask but this time with Shimmery Embossing Paste and the Cottage Rose Bundle!

And finally, I used the Shimmery Embossing Paste and mask on Melon Mambo cardstock.  Then I cut it into strips and offset them for a different effect.  The stamp set is Silly Goose. 

Fun Fold Tutorial

Supplies:  

Amazing Thanks Dies

Stylish Shapes Dies

Layering Circles Dies

Loveliest Layers Masks

Matte Black Dots

Adhesives

Blending Brush

Tahitian Tide Ink

Basic Black card stock

Basic White card stock

Tahitian Tide card stock

Measurements:  

Basic Black 10 1/2 x 4 1/4 score 3 1/2 & 7

Basic White 3 1/4 x 4 

Basic White 2 3/4 x 4 (inside) 

Tahitian Tide 1/2 x 4 (inside) 

3" Basic Black Circle

2 3/4 Basic White Circle

Scrap for cutting out words

Instructions: 

1.  Fold both ends of the card base towards the center, and burnish flat with a bone folder. 

2.  Add a white panel to the inside and decorate with a strip of Tahitian Tide. 

3.  Use a mask to create the design on the art panel with Tahitian Tide ink and a blending brush.  Be sure to center your design. Attach the panel to the card front. 

4. Die-cut words from scrap and glue them together. 

5.  Use a blending brush and Tahitian Tide ink to add color to the white circle. 

6.  Layer circles together and attach them to the card front with Dimensionals. 

7.  Embellish with Matte Black Dots.
