It's All About The Die Cutting! Perennial Postage...

 

Happy Monday Stampers!  

Today's card is all about the die-cutting!  

I used scraps for my mat layers and die cutting....the only new card stock I used for my card was the card base.  

Here is my card featuring the Perennial Postage Bundle: 


How bright and happy is this simple beauty!  

I die cut the square postage die with Coastal Cabana and Melon Mambo card stock. 
I added them to a piece of Basic Black cardstock and trimmed the four edges so they were straight. 
A simple greeting, a bow and some pearls completed this card!

Supplies

Perennial Postage Bundle
Memento Black ink pad
Basic White card stock
Basic Black card stock
Melon Mambo card stock
Coastal Cabana card stock
Circle punches or dies
Gingham Ribbon
Pearls
Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive

Measurements

Card Base: Basic White: 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 score 4 1/4
Mat: Basic Black: 4 1/4 x 5 1/2
Enough Melon Mambo to cut 5 postage stamps
Enough Coastal Cabana to cut 5 postage stamps 
2 3/8 White Circle
2 1/2 Black Circle

Challenge:  make a card using this die-cut technique (or cut squares with your paper trimmer) using only scraps except for your card base.
