Global Design Project #450- Racing By....

 

This is my submission for the Global Design Project #450 Challenge. 

I used Simply Said and Racing By stamp sets. 

The colors are Daffodil Delight, Cherry Cobbler, and Night of Navy.  

Birthday Card in the Mail...

 I had to share this beautiful birthday card I received in the mail from Carole and Eadie:

From the outside it looks like a gatefold with a belly band...

But...when you remove the belly band...and open the gates...

There is a pop up element on the inside of the card!  

Super cute card!

CASEing Card Templates

As you probably know, our catalogs are created for CASEing. We want you to Copy and Share Everything you see—for personal use, for social media, for gatherings! Our latest annual catalog, however, has a little something extra to inspire your projects: the card templates on pg. 22! Look closely and you’ll see which template we used to make the Thanks Friend card: we simply moved the template’s elements to the center of the card (whereas originally they were on the right). And that’s the beauty of these templates—use them as a starting point and rearrange them any way you like! To create this card (made using the Labeled with Love Bundle), we stamped the butterfly outlines in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on Basic White Cardstock, then added the solid butterfly images in Peach Pie ink; to create a hint of depth, we applied a bit of Cajun Craze ink to the wings using a Sponge Dauber. The Pretty Peacock Lily Pond Lane Designer Series Paper (which looks like it’s splattered with little raindrops) makes a perfect backdrop for the butterflies, and the lovely Adhesive-Backed Sequins Trio complete the card. We hope you’ll use this template to make your own card, or choose one of your liking on pg. 22. And if you have a team, challenge them to do the same! You may even want to include the Lily Pond Lane Designer Series Paper in your challenge—because it’s just so adorable! Have fun!

Template Tuesday With a Twist cards...

This is the template I followed.

This is the first card following the template. I used To Market DSP and Go To Greetings.

We followed the template to create two cards. The twist was that the happy birthday card follows the color challenge for Global Design Project Challenge #449.
