This was a super fun and easy card to make. The key is Masking Paper!
How You Can Make It:
Supplies:
- Masking Paper
- Basic White Card Stock
- Basic Black Card Stock
- Lemon Lolly ribbon
- Poppy Parade ink pad
- Flirty Flamingo Stampin Blends
- Lemon Lolly ink pad
- Daffodil Delight Stampin Blends
- Memento Black ink pad
- Garden Green Card Stock
- Black Stampin Write Marker
Measurements:
Card Base: Basic White: 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 score 4 1/4
Mat Layer: Basic Black: 5 1/8 x 3 7/8
Focal Layer: Basic White:5 x 3 3/4
Flower: Basic White: 2 1/4 x 2 1/4
Instructions:
- Fold the card base on the score line and press it flat using a bone folder.
- Take a piece of masking paper and tear it in half, and attach it to the focal layer, leaving an open area in between.
- Ink between the masking paper with Lemon Lolly ink.
- Stamp the flower images -
- Stamp the fill in for the flower with Poppy Parade ink.
- Stamp the heart images
- Color the heart images with Flirty Flamingo Stampin Blend.
- Stamp the splotch images
- Carefully remove the masking paper.
- Stamp the greeting ( I strongly suggest a Stamparatus, as you do not want to mess up now that you have all the hard work done)
- Stamp the flower and die-cut the leaves and flower.
- Add the focal image to the Basic Black mat layer
- Add ribbon and then attach it to the card front.
- Embellish with flower, leaves, and a bow.
