All this week I will be featuring cards I made using our Ephemera packs.
Just what is Ephemera?
One definition for ephemera is "the minor transient documents of everyday life". Ephemera are often paper-based, printed items, including menus, ticket stubs, newspapers, postcards, posters, sheet music, stickers, and greeting cards. However, since the 1990s, the term has been used to refer to digital artefacts or texts.
As card makers and scrapbookers, we can purchase paper ephemera to decorate our projects, offering quick and easy creating!
Here are the current Ephemera packs that are currently available....and oh so affordable!
Ok....back to my card:
I have this set of stitched wonky rectangles in my craft stash and thought it might be cool to use the dies as my card base and my layers....I have not done a shaped card in a while.
I took a standard card base, folded it in half, and die-cut with the largest die, making sure to not cut through the fold.
Next, I layered a Poppy Parade mat layer and a Basic Black mat layer.
The cactus, the greeting, and the banner are all from the Ephemera packs.
Three sparkly gems and I was done!
Easy peasy!
Come back tomorrow for more Ephemera fun!
