Turtle-y Awesome- Day 2 of 4

For the remainder of the, I will be showcasing cards from the Turtle-y Cute Suite, found on page 48, and featuring the Turtle-y Cute Bundle.  

Here is my second card: 

For this card, I amped up the creative juices and did some dry embossing and some ink blending (Lemon Lolly & Strawberry Slush)  to give my card a little zip.  

Whenever I am adding a die-cut element to a card, I like to have something to anchor the die-cut.  This could be ink blending, a die-cut shape....anything so that the die cut is not just sitting there alone. 

I love how the black makes the Strawberry Slush pop!  

A bit of black and white gingham ribbon, and this card was done!
