Proportional Matting Your Cards

Today I wanted to talk with you a bit, about matting for your cards.  

Many times when you stamp an image you want to place it on a mat with a coordinating color. 

I ran across this chart for proportional matting for standard cards.  I printed it off and have it tacked to the wall in my craft room. 

I think this is a huge time saver....instead of having to do all the figuring for yourself, simply select your image and measure it to see what size paper you want, and then from the chart go up one, two or three sizes, depending on the width of the border you want!  Easy peasy!
