Baby Swipe Technique...You've Got This and Happy Scenes

This card I made because I wanted to try out a new technique- the BabyWipe Technique.  

Basically you take a baby wipe, fold it up and add reinker drops to the edge and wipe it across your cardstock.  

I used three colors of reinker here, River Rock, Pretty In Pink, and Bashful Blue.  All these reinkers are retired colors.....but great for techniques like this! 

Then I used Archival Black ink and stamped the tree images from the Happy Scenes stamp set.    The greeting is from You've Got This stamp set.  

A strip of glitzy washi tape, and a sparkly snowflake embellishment, finishes this card off beautifully.  

I love the contrast between the black ink and card base and the pastel colors in the background.
