So this time I took a piece of watercolor paper and wet the paper with a water spritzer. Then I sprinkled on some of the Prussian Blue crystals. I carefully spritzed a little more to make the ink move more. I am going for a deep ocean look...I wanted a combination of light and dark. Once I was happy I dried with the heat tool completely.
Then I added a wee bit of yellow and some more blue. Then I lightly misted with water to activate the ink crystals. I set this aside to dry.
Next I grabbed my Magical Mermaid stamp set:
Next I grabbed a scrap of water color paper and stamped the mermaid in Archival Black ink. Then I colored the mermaid and fussy cut her out. I used my Wink of Stella glitter pen to give her tail a shimmery glimmery look:
Once my background was dry I took a paper towel and gently brushed off any loose crystals.
Next I grabbed my Versamark Ink and Black Embossing powder and added the greeting.
Then I cut the background to the size I wanted and mounted it on a card base.
The final step was to adhere my mermaid to the background:
