This is a very simple card to make but the black and white make a statement.

BEST CATCH BUNDLE.....MASKING TECHNIQUE....PAPER PIERCING TECHNIQUE

Yup....this is my second post today....catching up as yesterday was insanely busy for me and I was unable to post.    

This card features the Best Catch Bundle found in the Occasions catalog.  

This set is WONDERFUL for the guys in your life.  

For this card I masked an area on the card and sponged Old Olive ink.  Next I stamped the fish images randomly using Old Olive ink.  Then I removed the masks.  

I made a fishing pole by fussy cutting some of the Wood Textures DSP and adding a piece of craft wire for fishing line.  

A quick greeting mounted on one of the new STITCHED RECTANGLE dies as a mat and I was basically done.

BIRTHDAY CHEER BUNDLE...

I was sitting in front of the tv the other night watching one of my favorite programs A Million Little Things (amazing show) and decided I needed to be doing something productive rather than just sitting there.   So, during the first commercial I set up a folding table and grabbed a few supplies.  

I chose the new Birthday Cheer bundle from the Occasions catalog.  I stamped the images on watercolor paper with Stazon Black ink.  

I let the ink dry a bit and watched a few more minutes of my show.  Then I grabbed an aquapainter and some Balmy Blue ink and started adding color to the background.  I let it dry and repeated until I was happy with the result when it was dry. 

Next I grabbed my markers and colored the images....I used a combination of Stampin' Write markers and Stampin Blends. 

Finally I stamped the greeting at the top of the card using my Stamparatus.  

I adhered the art piece to Gorgeous Grape mat layer using LOTS of Tombow because the watercolor paper was warped from all the processes I had applied to it. Then I adhered it to a Basic Black card base.   

I put it under a book and let it dry for 10 minutes or so ...and it was dry and completely flat when I removed the book.  

I LOVE how the background turned out!

Double Pocket Card....Meant To Be Bundle...

So....I was once again surfing around the internet and came across some samples of double pocket cards.  

I thought, why not?   Let's give this a try! 

I was PLEASANTLY surprised and how easy this card was to make- SUPER SIMPLE!  Yeah!
