Shel's Spotlight Stamper....

Good Moring Stampers!  

I hope you are doing something today that makes you happy! 

 I am creating in my craft room today preparing projects to share with you next week.  

And it makes me very happy to share with you another Shel's Spotlight!

Today's Spotlight is on one of my stampers....Pam Marsh! 

She has agreed to share her beautiful cards with us today.....and featuring... 

Playing In The Rain Suite!

When I asked Pam to be a featured stamper she said she was in need of some birthday cards, and came up wih these.  

This first card is a book fold and that little turtle is so sweet! 

This bunny just makes me smile.   

He reminds me of my oldest son when he was little.  He was an "outdoor" child who loved to play outside every day no matter the weather.  

He especially loved it when it rained as he got to wear his yellow rain boots and coat and play in the puddles in the yard.  He was so joyful getting soaked.....this bunny reminds me of those times from years gone by. 

Don't you just love how the beautiful Designer Series Paper coordinates so well with the stamp set!

FUN- Tastic Friday and In The Country Masterpiece!

 

Happy FUN-Tastic Friday Stampers!  

And to kick off your weekend I wanted to send out this post jam-packed full of information and freebies. 

Here goes: 

#1- Today's card showcases the Sale-A-Bration freebie In The Country item #160828.

Here is my card: 

I needed a card for a dear friend who is going through a tough time, so I thought this card would be just what I needed.  Since this card was going to be for a guy I did not want anything too fancy or frou-frou.  

I stamped the image on watercolor paper that has lots of texture.  

I used my stamparatus and stamped the image multiple times using Stazon Black ink.  (stazon is needed as it stays on and does not bleed when working with water) 

Next, I grabbed my watercolor pencils and scribbled color on the fence, then used my water painter brush to move that color around.  

I did this for each different area and each different color I used.  I moved about to different areas to allow one area to dry while I worked on another area farther away.  

Once I was done I matted the art panel and then added it to the mini-card. My initial thought was a black card base with a Balmy Blue mat but it did not look good. The green and brown were a much better choice. 

To finish the card, I stamped the greeting and matted it as well and then attached it to the card front with dimensionals. 

I know this is just a card but it is one of the most favorites I have done in a long time, as it looks like a little painting.  To be truthful, I did not want to give this one away but I did and hope that it gives my friend as much joy as it gave me....I will make another for myself.  LOL...

The best part is that I love what I created for my friend, and....the stamp set was FREE!

Nested Friends Fun Fold....

 

So sorry for the technical difficulties with last night's YouTube video....this time the problem was 100% me.  Somehow after I taped and previewed my video, I somehow clicked the wrong video to upload, so it had the correct name but the wrong video!  Duh!

Share A Milkshake Bundle....

 Here are the cards I made using the Share A Milkshake Bundle.  

The vertical card also has the Packing Tape Technique where I stamped the Milkshake glass then covered it with packing tape to make it shiny like real glass.

Hey Hey Hey Stampers!  Happy Wednesday!

Today I wanted to shine my spotlight on one of my stampers.  Today's projects are designed by Carole Anderson.  She has agreed to share her beautiful work here today.  

Up first is this simply gorgeous card she made using the FREE Sale-A-Bration Designer Series Paper called Dainty Flowers.  Item #160834 is found on page 6 of the Sale-A-Bration brochure. The greeting is from the Peaceful Moments stamp set.  Item# 151595 is found on page 29 of the Annual Catalog.  In my opinion, this card is so simple and so elegant....

 And next up is a bit of cutesy fun.....check out this fun card made with the Love Cats stamp set!  Item # 160410 is found on page 13 of the J2A Mini Catalog. This stamp set is a must for cat lovers out there!
