Facebook Live Two-fer- a fun fold and a bonus card...Gone Fishing/Beautiful Balloons....

 

Tuesday night I did an impromptu Facebook Live featuring a fun fold and a bonus card made from the leftover bits!

Supplies: 

Pecan Pie card stock

Very Vanilla card stock

Boho Blue card stock

Gone Fishing DSP

Pecan Pie ink pad

Boho Blue ink pad

Watercolor Pencils

Blender Pen

Timeless Arrangements Dies

Gone Fishing Bundle

Brushed Metallic Dots

Adhesives: Tombow, Dimensionals

SCEM Machine

Paper Trimmer

Measurements: 

Card Base: Pecan Pie:8 1/2 x 5 1/2 score 4 1/4

Inside DSP: Gone Fishing: 4 x 5 1/4

Front Outside Mat: Boho Blue: 4 x 5 1/4

Front Outside DSP: Gone Fishing: 3 3/4 x 5

Mini Card Base: Very Vanilla: 8 x 3 score 4

Mini Card Outside Mat: Boho Blue: 2 3/4 x 3 3/4

Mini Card Outside DSP: Gone Fishing: 2 1/2 x 3 1/2 

Tag: Very Vanilla: scrap

Fish: Very Vanilla: scrap

Instructions:

1. Fold the card base on the score line and burnish it flat with a bone folder. 
2. Put the card front in your paper trimmer.  Put the top LEFT corner on the cutting track. Put the bottom RIGHT corner on the cutting track. Make sure both points are centered in the track and cut off triangle. 
3. Add the inside DSP to the card using Tombow. 
4. Take the front outside mat and cut the same as you did for the card front. 
5. Take the front outside DSP and cut the same way as you did for the card front. 
6. Glue the front mat and the front DSP together with Tombow then add to the front flap of the card. 
7. Fold the mini card base on the score line and burnish it flat with a bone folder.
8. Glue the mini card outside mat and the DSP together with Tombow and add it to the mini card front. 
9. Dry fit the mini card so you know placement. 
10. Add Tombow to the back of the mini card and glue it into position 
11. Stamp greeting with Pecan Pie ink on Very Vanilla scrap 
12. Die cut the tag using the die from the Timeless Arrangement dies
13. Stamp, die cut and watercolor the fish.
14. Embellish the card with the greeting tag, the fish and some Brushed Metallic Dots. 

Card Two:  Standard Card:  How You Can Make It: 

Since I had three leftover triangles from the last card I did not want to waste them.  I decided it would be super simple to layer them together to make a second card. 

Supplies: 

Pecan Pie card stock

Very Vanilla card stock

Boho Blue card stock

Calypso Coral card stock

Mossy Meadow card stock

Gone Fishing DSP

Mossy Meadow ink pad

Watercolor Pencils

Blender Pen

Layering Squares Dies (retired)

Gone Fishing Bundle

Adhesive Back Solid Gems

Adhesives: Tombow, Dimensionals

SCEM Machine

Paper Trimmer

Measurements: 

Card Base: Very Vanilla: 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 score 4 1/4

3 Triangle Pieces left over from the first card

4 Squares that layer: 

Calypso Coral 2 7/8 x 2 7/8, 

Boho Blue 2 3/8 x 2 3/8, 

Mossy Meadow 2x2, and 

Very Vanilla 1 5/8 x 1 5/8

Fish: scrap Very Vanilla

Instructions: 

1. Fold the card base on the score line and burnish it flat. 
2. Layer the leftover triangle pieces together and attach them to the card front. 
3. Stamp the greeting on the smallest square with Mossy Meadow ink.
4. Layer the squares together and attach them to the card front with Dimensionals. 
5. Stamp two fish using Mossy Meadow ink, die-cut, and color with watercolor pencils
6. Embellish the card with fish and dots.
