Technique Tuesday....some marketing info....and a FABULOUS tip.....

 Technique Tuesday....

Today I am going to show you how to make a super simple card that packs a punch!  Check these out:



These sweet cards that are oh-so-simple to make but are super cool and impressive! 

How You Can Make It: 

Supplies:
Hello Kiwi Stamp Set
Basic Black Card Stock
Basic White Card Stock
Lemon  Lime Twist White Center Specialty Paper
Lemon Lime Twist Ink Pad
Memento Black Ink Pad
Adhesives: Tombow, Tear N Tape, Glue Dots
Adhesive Backed Sequins

Measurements:
Card Base: Basic Black: 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 score 4 1/4
Card Liner: Basic White: 4 x 5 1/4
Front Focal Panel:   Lemon Lime Twist: 3 3/4 x 4
Greeting Panel: Basic White: 3x3

Instructions:
  1. Fold the card base on the score line and burnish it flat with a bone folder. 
  2. Add a Basic White panel to the inside of the card. 
  3. Using Lemon Lime Twist ink stamp kiwi images all over the focal panel. 
  4. Tear a small section making sure to tear along the grain of the paper.  
  5. Roll the paper and adhere it to the panel with glue dots
  6. Stamp greeting on a Basic White panel using Memento ink
  7. Attach the greeting panel to the backside so it shows through the torn area. 
  8. Attach to the card front
  9. Embellish as desired

Even though this technique is simple, it adds a fun element to any card.
