Color Challenge Thursday!

 


Good Morning Stampers!  

Today it is Color Challenge Thursday and my color challenge for you today is to use Cherry Cobbler, Pecan Pie, Old Olive, and Pumpkin Pie.


Here is my card:



I chose the Caring Leaves #164273 found on page 59 of the Mini Catalog.  This is a fabulous and inexpensive set that is perfect for fall cards.

How You Can Make It

Measurements:  

Card Base: Basic Black: 8 1/2 x 4 1/4 score 4 1/4
Card Liner: Basic White: 4 x 4 
Front Mat: Regal Distressed Patterns: 4 x 4 
Focal Mat: Basic Black: 3 3/4 x 3 3/4
Focal Image: Basic White: 4@1 3/4 x 1 3/4
Greeting Mat: Basic Black: 1 3/4 x 1 3/4
Greeting Tag: Basic White: 1 1/2 x 1 1/2 

Instructions:

  1. Fold the card base on the 
  2. A
  3. score line and burnish it flat using a bone folder.
  4. Add the Basic White liner to the inside of the card. 
  5. Use a blending brush or sponge to add Old Olive, Cherry Cobbler, Pumpkin Pie and Pecan Pie inks....wipe off with paper towel when done to remove the ink from the gold foiling, then add to the card front. 
  6. Add the Basic Black mat layer to the card front
  7. Stamp the leaf images and the greeting. 
  8. Add them to the mat layer 
  9. Add the greeting to the mat layer and add to the center of the card with dimensionals
  10. Embellish with a wee bow.
