Did you know that all Stampin' Up! stamp sets are coated with a light film that happens during the manufacturing process?
When you get your new stamps the first thing I do is remove this film so that Ican get fabulous images whenI stamp.
There are several ways to do this...here are a few of my favorites:
1. Load the stamp on a clear block, add some stamp cleaner and rub vigorously on an old piece of rough denim. This is my favorite method and takes just seconds and works every time.
2. Before you put on your stickers (red rubber) or add to stamp case (photopolymer) take the entire sheet of stamps and use a fine sanding block and lightly rough up the stamping surface. Then clean to remove sanding residue.
3. Alternately, you can do one stamp at a time with a fine nail file, then clean to remove any residue.
Good advice! Thank you!!
